Feminist Sessions

The Feminist Sessions programme is one of Takatoat’s baseline, annual programmes that focuses on mobilising young women from across the MENA. Each session in the program hosts a pioneering feminist speaker from the region and focuses on feminist-related issues, topics, and themes. The programme has been implemented annually since 2021, and this year marked its third round of implementation. The programme consists of ten dialogue and discussion sessions, each led by a feminist activist from the SWANA region to discuss issues and topics on feminism, gender, sexual and gender-based violence, discriminatory legal frameworks, women’s bodily and sexual rights.
